Activity wallbrainstorming tool design

The activity wall is a unique project where we plan to install an interactive wall in a public area. After interviewing designers, we have proposed several data processing methods specifically for the brainstorming functionality. These methods aim to guide the activities, support data inheritance, and facilitate seamless data transformation.

Year: 11/2019 - 04/2020 Location: Taiwan

Since this was an internal project for the department, we conducted semi-structured interviews to understand the functionalities expected by the designers in the team and their relevant past experiences.

What we found ?
1.Brainstorming is the most anticipated feature.
2.Members hope it can aid in the facilitation of activities.
3.ï¼embers expressed that traditional activity makes data organization challenging.

4 MODES OF ACTIVITY WALL

I have defined four primary scenarios and interviewed designers for their ideas on various activities.
All interviewees were looking forward to this feature.

Designers can choose existing coordinate attributes or add new ones for analysis and discussion.

If designers want to compare the arrangement under different parameters, they can adjust the axis attributes. Based on the corresponding attribute parameters, the system will move the images to new positions.

Preparation Phase

In the preparation phase, it is necessary to determine the number of participants, project goals, etc. Designers should also register and reserve Activity Wall dates.

Data Collection Phase

In the Data Collection phase, designers use the system for individual ideation and analysis, uploading reference materials and basic information.

Brainstorming Phase

In the brainstorming phase, designers can use the system to integrate everyone's ideas and engage in further discussions.

Conclusion Phase

Ultimately, designers can use the system to generate reports directly, aiding in the formulation of design strategies.

REFLACTIONS: NUMEROUS EXECUTION METHODS AND TOOLS

Considering the numerous brainstorming execution methods and tools, is there an opportunity to transform the more extensive process into a particular data format for preservation? This idea could assist future designers in enhancing research quality and efficiency.
